Description:
Sr. Manager of Exchange and Desktop Technology Northbrook area Fulltime 130-160K plus bonus Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship No third party resumes Major provider of consumer services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Manager of Exchange and Desktop remote technology out of a large enterprise environment. Responsibilities: Solution development for desktop virtualization, including Citrix Published Desktop, Virtual Hosted Desktop, profile Management as well as operational readiness for the virtual desktop. Solution development for managed client base image with windows 7 and future technologies. Solution development for mobile technologies, hardware, software and device management. Consumerization of end user computing through enterprise. Enterprise rollout. Program management. Technical leadership and oversight in planning, evaluation, design, development, implementation, operation and control of large complex desktop virtualization and mobile technology solutions. Initiate direct communication with a wide range of client, supplier, regulatory, application, architectural, and systems personnel. Will ensure conformance to establish system architecture, methods, regulations, standards and practices and participate in creation. Participate in long range planning and ensure those plans are consistent with business objectives for end user capabilities, industry direction and regulatory compliance. Must be able to analyze and problem solve complex technical issues with minimal supervision, and work within a team environment. Help to set the client computing and desktop virtualization vision for the organization. Ensure communication and change management activities support a successful rollout to 40,000 end users and server portfolio. Qualifications: 5+ years of infrastructure technology experience. Experience with infrastructure design and function Strong desire creativity and innovation; strong technical leadership abilities Strong exchange experience along with desktop virtualization and remote technologies in most current role for a min of 5yrs continuously Must be a Sr. manager of a large enterprise environment managing over these technologies: Windows, Exchange, remote technology, desktop virtualization and mobile devices.
